Position: Core Network Support Engineer


Essentielle Verantwortlichkeiten und Aufgaben

Main responsibilities:
- customer (one of major Austrian mobile network operator) facing support engineer in vendor-network operator environment (on-site)
- maintenance and support activities of voice core network elements in a cloud environment
(network change operations, upgrades, processing / tracing trouble tickets, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, inspection tasks, etc.)
- acting as interface between network operator technical team and vendor level 3 support
- providing technical support for mobile and fixed voice services
- on-call duty (readiness to do if required once in 2-3 Months after first year - is extra paid)

Andere Voraussetzungen:

- university degree in computer science, electrical engineering/ telecommunication, software engineering or equivalent
- solid IT background - computer and transmission HW, IP networking, solid Linux knowhow, knowledge/experience of Cloud Technologies (Openstack, Container) is a plus
- network support experience, at least 2-3 years
- working knowledge in following telecommunication protocols: ISUP, MAP, SIP, Diameter
- mobile and fixed voice core knowhow
- IMS architecture knowhow is beneficial
- acting as reliable team member in an international multicultural team
- good communication and analytical skills
- very good knowledge of English language mandatory
- German knowledge not necessary, is nice to have.
- start day as soon as possible
