Essential duties and responsibilities:

For our banking client in Vienna (Austria) we are looking for a VBA Developer:

You develop, maintain and improve VBA solutions for our reporting experts.
 Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
 Ensure, that designs are in compliance with specifications.
 Write documentation for users and provide training on tool usage.
 Support the development and configuration of database systems.
 Participate in Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, retro).

Vienna, partially remote

Commence date:

15.09.2022

Other requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical
experience.
 Minimum 3 years of experience in development area, especially refactoring code, test-driven
development, enhancing software, debugging, building tools, and testing frameworks and languages
like Java, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Python, JavaScript, or Go
 Experience in developing VBA solutions
 Experience with SQL
Soft skills
 Proactivity; Curiosity; Responsibility; Ideas & Confidence.
 Structured working approach and problem-solving skills.
 Fluent English; German or another CEE language is appreciated, but not mandatory.
